Elizovo school closed in Kamchatka due to mass poisoning of children
Lomonosov of the city of Yelizovo MV Kamchatka Krai has been quarantined due to an outbreak of salmonellosis. This was reported in the group of the administration of the Yelizovsky district on the social network "VKontakte".
The quarantine will last until October 18 and was introduced by a decree of Rospotrebnadzor. Specialists are responsible for the final disinfection of the facility.
"The school buildings will be closed to visitors," the administration said, noting that classes will be held remotely.
Classes for competitions, competitions, clubs and sections are currently cancelled.
This time, Rospotrebnadzor employees will take additional samples to check for infection, the agency added.
The Investigative Committee of Russia noted that 11 students were admitted to city medical institutions with signs of diseases related to the group of acute intestinal infections, and many more minors are undergoing outpatient treatment.
Based on these facts, a criminal case was opened under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code (Provision of services that do not meet safety requirements).
