Aliyev rejected Armenia's proposal to sign some points of the peace treaty

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev called Armenia's proposal to sign the already agreed parts of the peace agreement between the two countries without waiting for the completion of negotiations on the remaining issues "far from reality." He said this during a meeting with Belgian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Julien de Frepo.

"President Ilham Aliyev noted that all points of the peace treaty are the same and cannot be separated from each other. From this point of view, the head of state emphasized that Armenia's strange proposal "to sign everything that was agreed upon and leave the unagreed upon for later" is far from reality, the agency's report says.

Earlier, Aliyev reported that Baku and Yerevan had agreed on almost 80% of the content of the peace agreement. According to him, the authorities have already begun demarcating the borders and demarcating the borders. The country's leadership told Life.ru correspondent Alexander Yunashev that the signature will be signed as soon as everything is approved. The Prime Minister of Armenia noted that the "agreed content" is not yet sufficient for signing.
