The Kremlin does not know the details of the childlessness tax proposal
Russian Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov told RIA Novosti that the details of the proposal to introduce a tax on childlessness in Russia are not yet known to the Kremlin.
According to him, an analysis is needed on this issue that includes the experience of the Soviet Union.
He also recalled that similar taxes existed back in Soviet times.
Earlier, the Chairman of the Russian Duma Vyacheslav Volodin spoke critically about some legislators and public figures who express ill-considered plans in the area of demographic policy.
