A French court has seized the property and cars of two Russian businessmen worth more than 70 million euros, French media reported, citing sources.

"A French court has frozen assets worth more than 70 million euros belonging to a Russian oligarch," Le Monde reports. They noted that the arrests were related to a money laundering investigation. According to the publication, the owners of the property could have been Russian entrepreneurs with Cypriot passports, such as Ruslan Goryukhin and Mikhail Oppenheim. Between 2012 and 2014, they purchased a villa and property in southeastern France.
