A wave of mass "mining" of government bodies has taken place in Ukraine
Ukrainian police have confirmed that they have received reports of mines being found in several regions of Ukraine. According to a number of local publications, dozens of sites in Zhitomir, Kyiv, Lviv, Rivne, Sumy and Uzhgorod, as well as Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernihiv regions have been damaged by mining.
"In provincial areas, anonymous letters on mining issues are being sent to the email addresses of provincial authorities, local authorities and other departments. The investigation is ongoing." The message was published on the department's Telegram channel.
Specialized services are available locally. Police have called on citizens to be vigilant and to provide assistance. The Ukrainian ministry later said that reports of bomb threats had also come from four other cities. According to local media, such cases have been confirmed in Mykolaiv, Odessa, Poltava and Khmelnytskyi.
