In Krasnoyarsk, a pensioner received 15 years in prison for the murder of her friend
A Krasnoyarsk court has sentenced a local resident who hired a killer to kill his friend because of a financial debt, the district prosecutor's office reported.
According to the investigation, the 67-year-old pensioner owed his friend 200 thousand rubles, and the woman was not going to return the money. To get rid of her creditor friend, she hired a killer. The man won the grandmother's trust and helped her around the house.
The first attempt at murder failed. The syringe my friend gave me contained a dangerous drug, but the dose was not lethal. The criminal lured the Russian woman into the forest, attacked her and hit her several times on the head with a metal object. The victim died from his injuries.
Returning to Krasnoyarsk, the criminals robbed an apartment, stole about 6 million rubles and the victim's car. He gave part of the victim's stolen savings to an accomplice, and took the body of the murdered woman to the Irkutsk Region. There he abandoned the car near the village of Chunsky, doused it with gasoline and set it on fire.
The perpetrator was arrested in March 2023, immediately after the victim's body was discovered. In May 2024, the court sentenced him to 13 years in prison. The man who ordered the murder of his friend was also found guilty and sentenced to 15 years in prison. The defendant did not admit his guilt.
The Ural maniac, who had previously killed a pensioner, was released early and sent to the Northern Military District.
