Carrying an Arsenal of Weapons: Police Prevent Third Attempt on Trump's Life

An armed man tried to enter a rally for U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump in Coachella, California. Police found a fully loaded gun in his car, Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco said in a news release.

"The male driver, Wham Miller, 49, of Las Vegas, was found to be in illegal possession of a shotgun, a loaded handgun, and a high-capacity magazine. Miller was taken into custody without incident. <...> This incident did not impact the safety of former President Trump or event attendees," a law enforcement official said.

According to American media, the detainee tried to attend the rally using a fake press card. When detained, the man admitted that he wanted to kill the politician, the media claim.
