The lives of people in different regions of Russia were compared by median income and the cost of a number of goods and services, the volume of funds attracted on deposits and in banks, the share of the population below the poverty line and incomes above. RUB 60,000. The analysis was conducted based on the results of 2023.
It turns out that the most prosperous Russians live in the Yamalo-Nenets, Chukotka, Nenets and Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrugs, as well as in the Magadan and Sakhalin Regions. The outsiders in the ranks were Chechnya, Kalmykia, Karachay-Cherkessia, Tuva and Ingushetia.
Kirov Oblast ranks 54th in the ranking. Based on the results of 2023, the region improved its ranking by four positions compared to the 2022 ranking. Based on the results of 2021, Kirov Oblast dropped one line lower.
