Expensive equipment confiscated from a resident of Kyrgyzstan in Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Okrug
In Nadym, a court confiscated expensive mobile phones and cars from Kyrgyz residents at the state's expense for distributing drugs in the city. The man was also sentenced to 6 years in a maximum security prison, URA.RU learned about this from a report from the district prosecutor's office.
"The Nadym city prosecutor's office supported the Prosecutor General's Office in a criminal case against a person from the Kyrgyz Republic. Taking into account the prosecution's position, the court sentenced the criminal to six years of imprisonment and placed him in a maximum security prison, confiscating his expensive cell phone and mobile car. We are turning drugs into state income," the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug Prosecutor General's Office wrote on its Telegram channel.
The investigation revealed that the man sold large quantities of drugs online in March 2024. However, the man failed to carry out his plan to sell the substances. The court's decision will come into force in the near future.
