More than 2,000 guests took part in the Forum of tourist territories in Mineralnye Vody

"This year, the Forum was held in the North Caucasus for the first time, confirming the high attractiveness of the region as a unique tourist destination and a good business platform for investors. Today, ski infrastructure is being actively built here, new forms of mountain recreation are being created, which are being replicated in other regions of the country, and, of course, tourist flows are being diversified. Our Development Institute actively participated in dozens of sessions, presenting examples of the company's key competencies and even organized business tours to Elbrus. Participants in business trips were able to assess on the spot the practical skills of the teams that we use to modernize our flagship resorts, attract investors and create the infrastructure necessary for our business. The mixed format of practical courses and business programs allows you to fully immerse yourself in the topic and exchange experiences without leaving the cash register. By the way, the guests learned how today we unload the cash register, turn to information technology and use artificial intelligence. “We would like to thank the organizers for their innovative approach and all participants for useful and productive discussions,” said Andrey Yumshanov, CEO of Kavkaz.RF.

"Destination forums and professional B2B exhibitions are platforms for making decisions and signing contracts between business, government, professional associations and enterprises. The highlight of our platform is also closed meetings of investors with the heads and management of regional and federal authorities to discuss specific proposals, investing in the development of tourism infrastructure, launching and expanding production. All projects presented at the Tourism Regional Forum during the year receive support from the organizers and will be able to summarize their business work at the FTT platform next year, launch new projects and present new breakthrough solutions," said Olimpiada Znamenskaya, organizer and ideologist of the FTT Forum, CEO of United Consulting Solutions "Nomos", advisor to the president of the Federation of Restaurants and Hoteliers.

"The Sverdlovsk Region has great potential for tourism development. The mountains and rivers attract extreme sports enthusiasts and, in general, everyone who loves the harsh nature of the Urals. Business activity is also growing, so the number of guests visiting this region increases every year. Participation in major federal events, such as the Forum of the Tourism Region, gives us additional opportunities to promote the Sverdlovsk Region and find new partners, for example, for the construction of new hotels, for the development of new interesting tourist routes. We are also ready to hold one of the subsequent forums on tourist destinations in the Sverdlovsk Region. We have all the necessary resources for this," said Vadim Tretyakov, Minister of Investments and Development of the Sverdlovsk Region.

One of the most important topics of the Forum's business program concerned investment opportunities, development of tourism projects, opening of production facilities and creation of jobs, including in new territories of Russia. Both business leaders and government officials spoke at thematic sessions and discussions. Denis Pushilin, Head of the Donetsk People's Republic; Dmitry Vorona, Vice-President of the Council of the Economic Policy Union; Andrey Yumshanov, CEO of JSC Kavkaz.RF; Natalya Kostenko, Deputy Chairperson of the Committee for Tourism and Tourism Infrastructure Development of the Russian Duma; Nikolay Afanasov, Acting Deputy Chairman of the Stavropol Territory; Oleg Denisenko, Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Russian Federation in the Siberian Federal District, Minister of Tourism and Resorts of the Stavropol Territory Andrey Tolbatov; Nikolay Slepnev, Deputy Governor of the Tomsk Region, Head of the Tomsk Regional Representative Office of the Government of the Russian Federation; Vadim Tretyakov, Minister of Investment and Development of the Sverdlovsk Region and other government representatives.

"We have been manufacturing furniture for hotels and restaurants for over 15 years. We have been participating in the FTT forum for several years now and would like to point out that this is a great place to meet business partners, share experiences, find new business contacts and even quickly conclude deals. Our partners left the forum stating that they experienced a positive information "overload" due to the volume of communications, business contacts, business development ideas, etc. Our company is interested in developing our business in a new region and we managed to personally talk to the head of the DPR to discuss the possibility of developing our business in a new region. We hope for the successful development of the Forum of Tourist Regions and thank you for giving us the opportunity to negotiate with the country. We are looking forward to the next forum," said Evgeniya Izmestieva, Director of Development at Hotel Technology.

Another strategic agreement in the hotel sector was reached within the framework of the Forum of Tourist Regions. Alexander Biba, President of the Cosmos Hotel Group, and Elizaveta Zhukova, CEO of the developer of the Vera Health and Recreation Center, agreed to develop a year-round resort in the Lazarevsky District of the Krasnodar Territory. The total investment volume will amount to 16 billion rubles. The developers and investors plan to complete the project by the end of 2028. As part of the agreement, Cosmos Hotel Group will also consult the partner on technical support during the construction of the hotel, including architectural and functional concepts, design and working documentation, as well as the construction of room models. One of the largest federal hotel operators will take over the management of the 1,200-room hotel complex with a planned tourist flow of more than 300 thousand people per year.

"The Destination Forum is, first and foremost, an authoritative communications platform for the entire tourism industry. We discuss the comprehensive development of the region here with our business colleagues and government officials, and we are pleased to see the recent shift in the approach of countries and development agencies to a systematic and cluster approach. With the creation of year-round resorts, tourism is becoming a driving force for local investment activity. Mantera Group, which has extensive experience in a systematic approach to resort development, is the only private company managing tourism and recreation SEZs, and is ready to share its experience and capabilities at the forum and begin a constructive dialogue with partners. As a result, thanks to the synergy of the efforts of the country and industry leaders, an outstanding project will be created that is ahead of its time and will become a new bright landmark on the tourist map of Russia." Maria Zolotukhina, Deputy General Director of Mantera Group, shared her opinion.
