Violin and a bit of horror: 7 new music releases from Russian artists that will diversify your playlist

Russian musicians have given their fans several interesting albums over the past two weeks. The new release will please both those who like to think about eternity and those who prefer electronic dance music. We listened to 7 songs by the band "Klops" that are worth paying attention to.

1. “Everything is going as it goes” On September 26, the album of the band Dancing Minus “It Will Be Next” was released, becoming a significant event for fans of Russian rock. This is the first major release of the band since 2021. The collection includes 10 tracks, including well-known ones (“Porcelain Ball” and “Notebook”) and new ones (“Don’t Speak”, “Scythes”, “Altaika”). When you feel tired and have nowhere to turn, this album will help you focus and get back on track.

The song "Oversize" by the band "Operation Plasticine" will be included in the album of the same name, which is scheduled for release on October 18. The band adheres to a punk sound, playing energetic riffs and loud drums. The cheerful melody is accompanied by words about eternity. The lyrics discuss the problems of layoffs, which can affect individuals and society as a whole.

4. "I was hanging on a hook like a fish, so it wouldn't touch the bottom." Ginkgo Forest's EP "Empty Flower" consists of 4 tracks. The Midwest indie rock and emo band once again pleases fans with thoughtful melodies, complemented by multi-layered guitar textures and disturbing violin parts. A very depressing album for those who like to think in headphones. Emo music, or "emotional hardcore", is a style of rock characterized by melodies and expressive lyrics dedicated to emotional experiences. Midwest emo is a variety of this style, characterized by contrasting transitions from quiet to loud sounds.

The album "Prayer. order. "Sertselev's Hymns", consisting of nine tracks, was released on September 27. The musician uses melodies with chaotic rhythmic changes to reflect the boundaries between light and darkness, metamodernity and the emotional state of modern man. With the help of philosophical and even mystical metaphors, the author immerses listeners in thoughts about the future. The song "Dawn Behind the Darkness", released before the album, is already included in the list of songs.

Burrito's "The Stars Are Waiting for Us" is part of a three-track mini-album of the same name. The collection also includes the songs "Ashes and Snow" and "Night Caprice". The title track is a mix of pop and electronic elements and evokes a slight nostalgia. The combination of emotional vocals and a soft, slightly monotonous melody creates a feeling of lightness and cheerfulness.
