On October 12, a farewell ceremony was held in Tobolsk for 82-year-old Nina Kugaevskaya, who disappeared a month ago. The woman disappeared on September 10 after she went into the forest near the city to pick mushrooms. Dozens of volunteers took part in the search.

Nina Kugaevskaya called her family on the evening of September 10. She said she was lost and could not get out of the forest. She stayed in touch all night until the phone rang. On the afternoon of September 11, information about missing people was sent to the LisaAlert search system. Over the course of several weeks, the search team, along with other volunteers, covered more than 1,500 kilometers of forest trying to find the woman.

On October 8, her relatives found Nina Aleksandrovna's Nordic walking stick in the forest and handed it over to law enforcement officers and rescuers. On October 9, officers arrived at the scene using the coordinates they received and discovered the woman's body.

Nina Kugaevskaya was known in Tobolsk as a teacher who taught French and German at the university. After finishing her career, she actively followed the athletic achievements of her son, Maxim Kugaevsky, the head coach of the Tyumen Region biathlon team. Her hobby was picking mushrooms and berries, to which she devoted a lot of time.
