The exhibition "Railway Model" will open at VDNKh on October 21

The exhibition "Model Railway", dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Baikal-Amur Mainline, will open on October 21 on the territory of the Special Purpose Garage-Museum of the Protectorate of the Russian Federation at VDNKh. It will run until November 4, the agency's press service reports on its website.

One of the largest operating model railways in the country will be built on a site of more than 200 m2. The core of the exhibition is the display of more than 300 original works and samples of small models of various scales, the press service reported.

Visitors will be able to see the dynamics of the railway stations, regular train traffic according to the schedule and "model schedule", high-speed trains and freight trains with steam locomotives. A special feature of the exhibition will be the opportunity to see miniature trains, as well as the opportunity to become a locomotive driver in one of the simulators.

It was previously reported that the exhibition "Manezh Station. Moscow Transport - 2030" became the most popular in the history of the Manezh Central Exhibition Hall. During its existence, the exhibition was visited by more than 357,000 people. The city traffic simulator, the multimedia train that allows you to travel along the expressway, and the "Passenger's Journey" section in the "before-now" format were popular.
