In Perm Krai, a foreign car was flattened after a head-on collision with a truck: 4 students died
A fatal accident occurred in the Kirov region, in which four young people died. The tragedy was reported by the portal 59.ru, citing departmental sources.
According to preliminary data, early in the morning of Friday, October 11, a Mercedes-Benz and a truck collided on the Perm-Yekaterinburg highway. The accident occurred at approximately 6:55 at a site in the Kungursky District of Perm Krai. The truck destroyed an oncoming foreign car and dragged it for several dozen meters.
It is reported that there were four young men in the car: two aged 18, the third aged 19 and the fourth aged 21. Rescuers spent a long time trying to reach the victims of the horrific accident. The car door lock had to be cut with hydraulic tools. Doctors said that three of the men died and the fourth died a few minutes later.
According to sources, the truck driver tried to avoid a collision until the last moment, but the speed at which the two vehicles collided was too high. In addition, none of the four victims were wearing a seat belt. According to preliminary information, they may have studied at the same university.
