The role of artificial intelligence in solving the problem of personnel shortage has been named
Artificial intelligence (AI) technology can become a leading factor in changing demographics and help solve the problem of talent shortage by increasing labor productivity. This is the content of the speech of Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation Maxim Oreshkin at the International Symposium "Creating the Future", broadcast on the website of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
He said: “One of the answers to the talent shortage problem is artificial intelligence technology, which helps us grow faster by increasing productivity.” Oreshkin also noted that in the field of artificial intelligence, Russia shows world-leading results in mathematical algorithms, despite the fact that it loses out to other countries in terms of availability of computing power. “We are looking for opportunities to implement the same thing with lower costs,” the deputy director of the presidential administration explained.
Meanwhile, the spread of AI could pose challenges for the energy sector and seriously hamper plans to achieve carbon neutrality. As such, according to a McKinsey report, electricity consumption in Europe will triple by 2030.
