TNT Releases Trailer for Goodbye Series About Joe Biden in Russia
In it, Biden doesn't understand why sanctions against Russia aren't working, so he decides to find out for himself, but loses his documents and ends up working as an English teacher at a school.
TNT channel has released a trailer for the comedy series "Farewell" about the Russian Joe Biden. The role of the US President will be played by Dmitry Dyuzhev, who is as caricatured as possible and has a false snow-white chin.
According to the series, Biden does not understand why sanctions against Russia do not work. He came to the country incognito to understand the Russian soul and "to harm the Russian people forever." But "Russia is incomprehensible to the mind, and even more so to the mind of Joe Biden," the trailer says.
On his first day, he lost his documents (probably due to dementia) and now lives in a Khrushchev-era apartment building in a remote part of Russia. He gets a job as an English teacher to earn money for new documents and return to the United States. Meanwhile, CIA agents bring Ivanovich, a Russian pensioner who looks a lot like Biden, to the United States.
Independent film critic Ivan Afanasyev is not thrilled with the trailer or the idea of the series as a whole.
