Murashko announced a plan to introduce six thousand new healthcare facilities
The Minister of Health stated that 6 thousand medical institutions will be built in Russia within five years.
According to the Kremlin's Telegram channel, another 600 facilities are planned to be commissioned by the end of this year.
Murashko emphasized that the primary care modernization program has become one of the key areas of development of Russian healthcare.
In addition to the construction of new facilities, the program has refurbished 5,300 medical facilities. This includes both major building repairs and modernization of equipment and infrastructure.
Earlier it was reported that Putin would discuss with the government the modernization of primary health care, including infrastructure development, a hot topic for most Russians.
