Social Fund experts explained whether it is possible to provide maternity capital for a third child. As the experts explain, there is no separate capital payment for a third child, but there are situations when the payment is made precisely when a third child appears in the family.
The fund explained: “Payments can be made if the right to maternity capital has not previously arisen in connection with the birth or adoption of the first or second child.”
For example, in 2024 it will be 833,024 rubles. From January 1, 2020, it can be received if a third child is born in the family, and the first and second children were born before 2007. Or if triplets were born on January 1, 2020.
RUB 630,380 is paid if the third child was born between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2019, and the first two children were born before 2007. The same payment is also due if triplets were born in the family between January 1, 2007 and December 31, 2019.
630,380 rubles for the first and 202,643 rubles. - From January 1, 2020, payments are made for subsequent children or children with many children, if the first child is born in the family, and then twins or triplets are born, or two or more children are adopted.
The Social Fund reminds that the recipient of the certificate and his children must have Russian citizenship.
