SIBUR's program lessons introduced in Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug schools
The environmental lesson program "The Second Life of Plastic", developed by SIBUR, was launched in schools in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug. Employees of Zapsibtransgaz (part of SIBUR) worked in Nizhnevartovsk school No. 1. In 21, we held the first lesson under the updated program. There, elementary school students learned about waste separation and plastic recycling.
"SIBUR has created an ecosystem of convenient educational formats for children and teenagers, among which an important place is occupied by the program "The Second Life of Plastic", specially developed for school teachers and students. The company's ecologists held a seminar on the updated program of environmental classes for students of Secondary School No. 21," the press service of SIBUR reported. At the end of the lesson, the children received footballs made from recycled plastic.
The updated program is included in the methodological recommendations of the Russian Federal Center for Continuous Education (FCCE). All educational materials are posted on a digital portal accessible to teachers. More than 10,000 teachers are already using the program in their work. Education workers conducting these environmental classes have the opportunity to receive a diploma of participation in the All-Russian project, and the school receives a letter of thanks.
