The Presidential Property Management Department commented on the situation with prices in the State Duma cafeteria
The prices for main courses served at the Kremlin Food Factory are comparable to those in popular Moscow restaurants and cafes with similar service formats and a wide range of dishes. This information was published by the press service of the Russian presidential administration and given in response to comments on the cost of lunches in the State Duma, RIA Novosti reports.
The analysis conducted over the last few quarters of 2023-2024 showed that the prices for the main categories of culinary products in the KP "Kremlevsky" correspond to the prices of other catering establishments with similar characteristics. This emphasizes that the prices for lunches are within the generally accepted standards and reflect the current state of the market.
Earlier, New People party member Amir showed a photo of a State Duma receipt, which indicated the price of a six-course lunch at 577 rubles. These funds allowed the congressman to order cauliflower soup with croutons, mashed potatoes, homemade chicken cutlets, fresh vegetables and a drink.
I also remember that deputy Anastasia Udaltsova admitted that she does not often choose meat or fish dishes from the State Duma buffet because of their high cost. She noted that she sometimes buys a squid salad for 600 rubles and at the same time tea with lemon and honey, the price of which exceeds 100 rubles. These comments also confirm the existence of food price issues discussed in government bodies.
