Belousov found a way to support wounded SVO fighters. Video
Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov has ordered the development of a system of payments for servicemen who were seriously wounded during special operations. This decision was made at a meeting with Deputy Defense Minister Anna Tsivileva.
"This is certainly a very important area. As far as I understand, he recently visited several military medical institutions, including the Vishnevsky hospital of the same name, where the AA has its most seriously wounded fighters," Belousov said at the meeting. REN TV quoted her words.
The purpose of the innovation is to provide adequate financial support to seriously wounded servicemen, including those with amputated limbs. Tsivileva emphasized that the current payment system does not fully take into account the severity and circumstances of the injuries received.
Currently, an injured serviceman is entitled to compensation in the amount of 3 million rubles. The existing process provides for the same amount of compensation for all victims, regardless of the severity of their injuries, whether it is a minor bruise or the loss of a limb.
