Fitness club clients in Kurgan staged a riot over the dismissal of a trainer
The scandalous story with the fitness club "Residence" in Kurgan has taken a new turn. On October 17, dozens of women came to the club to work out with the trainer who was fired after the scandal. URA.RU correspondents talked to them in the presence of managers and listened to both sides.
"We demand that the coach be reinstated and that she be explained why she was fired. "Other coaches are not suitable for us." The client contacted the manager. They collected about 40 signatures under the petition addressed to the club's management. The women have been working with the coaches for over a year and say that they have achieved excellent results, some have regained mobility in their limbs after a stroke, and some have gotten rid of complex diagnoses. The sudden departure of the coach shocked them. Especially when the manager tells you his favorite reason for dismissal.
"She was fired for incompetence. I failed the assessment conducted by our club. Training sessions were repeatedly cancelled. She demonstrated recklessness and rudeness in communication with management, colleagues and clients. Bribes were offered for additional personal training. It was extremely difficult for the team to deal with such a person and what was happening looked very much like manipulation of her clients. In all the years of practice, I have never seen people come to me asking for a coach," the manager explained to those present at the meeting. She also noted that the decision to fire the coach was not sudden. The situation has been going on for a long time, and a month ago the management issued an order to fire employees and pay them salaries on October 15.
The trainer also made it clear to those present that the fired trainer would not be returning. Fitness clubs are willing to accept clients halfway and perform similar exercises under the guidance of different trainers at their convenience. Women were offered to attend a free workout to gain practical experience with a new trainer. However, this option is not suitable. Many people asked for refunds for the memberships they had already purchased.
"Very attentive, tactful, calm, completely non-confrontational. We can't believe our ears. What kind of professional incompetence is this if she has qualifications and diplomas and, most importantly, our health results? And internal issues, relationships within the team should not worry us. We don't need another trainer. They don't want to give up what belongs to us. It turns out that fitness clubs do not value their clients. "We all come to a certain trainer and try to get to the place where he trains," said the outraged visitors of the club, assuming that personal hostility within the team played a role in the dismissal of the trainer.
The fired trainer's client has decided to take a 10-day break from training to wait for an official written response from the resident. Based on that, they will decide what to do next. If you are not satisfied with the response, you plan to contact the club owner and, if necessary, the prosecutor's office.
Earlier, URA.RU reported that the Residence denied the information about a fight between the coaches. To confirm, the club managers were provided with recordings from surveillance cameras. However, neither the clients nor the club management deny the existence of a conflict between the girls.
