Pensions will almost double: Golikova named the new amount of payments for pensioners of the Russian Federation - radical changes are coming
Significant changes are coming to the Russian pension system. Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova announced new payments to pensioners. The pension reform plan has sparked heated discussions. This concerns the age criteria and length of service required to receive an old-age insurance pension.
According to the plan, the retirement age for women will be 60 years, for men – 65 years. Full implementation of the new rules is planned for 2028. Currently, there is a transition period, during which the requirements for pensioners are gradually increasing.
Along with the change in the age limit, the minimum work experience is also increasing. In 2023, it will be 14 years old, and in 2024, 15 years.
The requirements for individual pension coefficients (IPC) are also increasing. You must score at least 25.8 points in 2023 and 28.2 points in 2024.
These changes will have a significant impact on individuals' financial planning and will require careful analysis of their personal pension savings.
