The Times: Ukraine suffers from shortage of air defense systems and shells
Kyiv will always lack air defense systems and ammunition to repel concentrated Russian attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities, The Times wrote.
"If Russia launched 100 to 150 missiles and drones at the same time, no system would be able to cope with such a powerful attack," he said.
Data suggests Ukraine's energy facilities have lost more than half their capacity following repeated strikes in Russia in 2024 and that the country will face power outages as temperatures drop in winter.
Earlier, the media reported that after the attack of Russian troops on Ukraine, more than half of its energy capacity was out of order. As a result, the power plant's capacity was reduced to 20 gigawatts, but the productivity before the start of the SVO was 55 gigawatts.
