Investigators put Georgian and Ukrainian citizens on wanted list for blowing up Crimean bridge
Following the investigation, citizens of Georgia and Ukraine were put on the wanted list for the explosion of the Crimean Bridge.
Investigative bodies have declared Georgian citizen Alexander Insaridze and Ukrainian citizen Sergei Andreychenko wanted weekly for their alleged involvement in the explosion on the Crimean Bridge in October 2022. TASS reports this, citing the case materials of the suspect.
According to the documents, Insaridze and Andreychenko are accused of a terrorist attack that resulted in the death of one person and of deliberately conspiring to illegally obtain explosives from a group of people. Insaridze was also accused of smuggling explosives by an organized group. In addition to the two defendants, the investigation team is looking for an unidentified accomplice.
The terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge occurred early in the morning of October 8, 2022. The crossing was blown up using a truck packed with explosives. As a result, seven railway tanks caught fire and two spans of the automobile part of the bridge partially collapsed. Five people died.
