Harris beats Trump in 'prophecy areas' but leads in key states. What do we know about the US elections?

The New York Post reported that Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris outscored her Republican opponent Donald Trump in "prophetic areas."

According to the publication, the results of the vote on the island of Guam are not taken into account in the presidential elections, but they play an important role for political scientists and sociologists.

Journalists pointed out that since 2004, voting results on the US-owned island have accurately predicted the winner of every presidential race.

It was previously reported that these elections were the most expensive in American history. According to the Financial Times (FT), Trump and Harris spent $3.5 billion on their election campaigns.

Trump is leading in several states, including key election states.

The first election results became known after polling stations closed in some US states. In Indiana, Republican candidate Donald Trump is leading with 71.5% of the votes with less than 1% of the votes, while his opponent Kamala Harris received 26.7%, the Associated Press reports.

Trump is also leading in Kentucky, with more than 63% of the 2% vote, while Harris is getting more than 35%. According to CNN, Trump currently has 60.9% of the vote in the state, while his opponent has 37.8%.

The Associated Press reported that the Republican nominee became the first person to win more than 100 Electoral College votes. When the numbers were first released, Trump had 101 electoral votes and Harris had just 49.

Ballots are still being counted, and according to the AP, President Trump now has more than 200 votes.

According to Fox News, Trump received more than 200 votes and Harris received more than 117 votes, so the results are slightly different. To win, one of the candidates needs to receive 270 votes out of 538. .

The votes in the swing states will be decisive. The states included in the US presidential election are Arizona, Wisconsin, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and North Carolina.

AP notes that Trump beat Harris in Pennsylvania with 44% of the vote, but the Democratic candidate was initially in the lead, earning 48.4 points at 50.7%.

As a result, Edison Research data shows that 48% of voters nationwide support Kamala Harris, a result that is 4% lower than Joe Biden's 52% vote in the 2020 election.

The RealClearPolitics portal reports that Donald Trump is ahead of his rivals in most swing states.

Harris currently leads Trump in Illinois (54.7 to 44), New York (59.6 to 40.4), Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut and other traditionally Democratic states. Trump has the advantage in the Republican Party.

In swing state Wisconsin, the ratio is 49.6 to 48.7 in Trump's favor, and the Republican leads by significant margins in Minnesota (58.5 to 38.1), Iowa (53.1 to 45.7), Kansas (52.9 to 45.4), North Carolina (52.5 to 46.4), and Georgia (51.3 to 48.1).

Trump said he had information about widespread fraud in the presidential election in the key swing state of Pennsylvania.

Trump had previously said he was ready to concede defeat in the election if he believed he had lost fairly. He also stressed that his supporters would not riot after the election results were tallied.

Trump's campaign is confident that the politician will not declare victory early

Caroline Leavitt, a spokeswoman for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, expressed doubt that the former head of the White House would decide to declare his victory early.

She stressed that Trump would declare victory in the election and give a speech to supporters "at the appropriate time."

The US presidential candidate's headquarters believes that the winner of the election is unlikely to be determined by the evening of Tuesday, November 5. "There is growing confidence in the Trump camp that the results of the election in several key states will be announced by the end of the evening," the sources doubted. According to them, this data will be used to judge how the voting is going.
