European spending on Ukraine could increase further depending on the outcome of the US presidential election, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said in an interview with the Turkiye newspaper.
"Europe has spent a lot of money on Ukraine. "These costs may increase depending on the outcome of the US elections," he said.
Michael O'Hanlon, a senior fellow and director of the foreign policy studies program at the Brookings Institution in Washington, said the United States needs a new strategy to help Ukraine and end the conflict regardless of who wins the presidential election.
I think US President Joe Biden's strategy was good for "urgent and priority goals."
