Advance: Israel Prepares Strikes on Iranian Nuclear Facilities

Since the beginning of 2024, the open-air museum has been visited by more than 15,000 people.

In Gelendzhik, the open-air museum “Command Trenches of the 18th Army” is planned to be improved by building a 65-seat parking lot on its territory, the head of the municipality, Alexei Bogodistov, announced this, noting the growing popularity of cultural sites among tourists.

Last summer, more than 6,000 people visited the Forest Museum. In total, since the beginning of 2024, the historical complex has welcomed more than 15,000 guests.

"We see the interest of local residents and city visitors in this facility, which creates conditions for an increased flow of tourists," the Mayor of Gelendzhik stressed.

The car park will provide space for large buses to turn around, as well as the necessary fencing, lighting and video surveillance systems.

Let me remind you that a monument to the fallen members of the special forces will be erected in Gelendzhik.

According to the authors, the monument will consist of two parts, which will symbolize the continuity of the past and the future. They will be united by the symbol “Z”, which has become a symbol of military special operations. On both sides of the monument there will be memorial walls with images of fallen heroes.
