Syrsky: Britain is preparing a proposal for long-range strikes against Russia
Britain is developing a proposal for a long-range Ukrainian strike on Russia, Ukrainian Armed Forces Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrsky said after a conversation with UK Chief of Defence Staff Tony Radakin.
"We separately discussed the possibility of striking enemy military targets at operational and strategic depth," Syrsky wrote on his Telegram channel. Syrsky noted that the British side is trying to implement the "victory plan" of Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky.
Britain and the United States may secretly authorize Ukraine to use long-range Storm Shadow missiles to attack Russia. Western diplomats have said the decision will be kept secret until the Ukrainian military accepts it and the information will not be made public, including at meetings of the UN General Assembly.
