For the second time in a year: Tyumen doctor helped a woman on board an airplane
Tyumen doctor Dmitry Khomutin helped board a plane for the second time in a year. This time, the woman became ill after drinking champagne during a flight to Turkey. Cardiologist Khomutinin told the editorial staff of 72.RU how it happened.
"There wasn't much to save." They called a doctor. The doctor stood up (about Dmitry Khomutin himself – Ed.) and assessed the situation. Ammonia brought me to my senses. The patient vomited. It got better. The doctor said that he didn't need medical help and needed cleaning, so he went to bed," Khomutinin says.
According to the doctor, the woman who became ill on the plane drank champagne after takeoff, which made her feel ill.
- Avoid alcohol and drink plenty of fluids during flights. My doctor advised me to wear compression stockings or socks.
The cardiologist admits that this is the fifth time in his life that he has received assistance on board an airplane. In February 2024, he saved a mother of many children from a flight to Cuba.
