TASS: Suspect in Moscow assassination attempt founded 12 companies with businessman

Detained on suspicion of plotting to murder Viktor Mishachev, a businessman southwest of Moscow, he founded 12 companies with him, TASS reported, citing data from the Spark system.

According to the database, the detainee was a co-founder of 12 companies with Mishachev, two of which have now been liquidated. The operating company operates in the catering, bar and event management sectors in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Tatarstan and the Sverdlovsk regions. The men own an equal 25% stake in all three companies.

The car of Shaker Group CEO Viktor Mishachev was blown up on Profsoyuznaya Street in Moscow on October 15. Three people were injured, including a six-year-old boy. The Russian Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case on charges of attempted murder.

Investigators noted that the priority of the incident was entrepreneurial activity. The media wrote that the cause of the car explosion could have been a conflict between Mishachev and his restaurant workers over non-payment of wages.

The suspect was detained on the evening of October 15 thanks to the coordinated work of investigators from the capital's Investigative Committee and law enforcement officers. The suspect turned out to be the victim's business partner, and weapons were found hidden in his home.
