FEC: Elon Musk to Donate $75 Million to Trump Campaign in 3 Months
American entrepreneur Elon Musk has donated almost $75 million to political committees to support the election campaign of US presidential candidate Donald Trump, America PAC, in three months, RIA Novosti reports, citing data from the US Federal Election Commission (FEC).
Musk's donations totaled $74.95 million from July through September, according to the FEC. Another report covering the period from Oct. 1 to Oct. 16 is due to the committee on Oct. 24.
Musk has previously called Trump the only person who can save democracy. He has also suggested that the upcoming presidential election could be the last primaries if Trump loses. He said that if Democratic candidate Kamala Harris wins the election, her party will take the lead thanks to the immigrant vote.
