In France, a Russian was accused of preparing riots during the Olympics
The Paris prosecutor's office said Gryaznov was being prosecuted for allegedly collaborating with foreign countries to cause unrest in France. Paris said Russia was "organizing events that could cause instability during the Olympic Games."
The man has been charged and his home has been searched. The Russians face up to 30 years in prison.
Earlier, the media reported that Kirill Gryazhnov was detained in July last year. The man was accused of "maintaining contacts with Russian intelligence" and preparing "destabilization, interference and espionage operations" during the Paris Olympics.
