Dog Climbs to Top of Cheops Pyramid and Caught on Video
The footage provided by the publication shows a paraglider flying around the pyramid, and a brightly colored dog running between the stones at the top.
According to the paraglider, the animal was barking at birds from the top of the structure, which is about 4,500 years old. How exactly the dog managed to get there is unknown.
Previously, archaeologists managed to find intact burials from the New Kingdom and later periods in the Tunna el-Gebel necropolis area in central Egypt. They were found in the Al-Gureifa area.
Experts discovered a painted anthropomorphic sarcophagus containing preserved mummies, thousands of Ushabti figurines, amulets and other funerary items, as well as a papyrus about 15 meters long with the inscription "Book of the Dead".
