A new promenade space has been created on the embankment in the center of Moscow
In Moscow, the Kadashevskaya Embankment and the adjacent Staromonetny and Pyzhevsky Lanes have been improved. According to the Moscow Municipal Services Complex, a comfortable walking space has appeared on the embankment. The main goal of the work was to make the coastal area pedestrian, while maintaining the functionality of public transport. Now Muscovites have a new pedestrian route from Balchug to Vorobyovy Gory.
The specialists installed additional storm drains, removed overhead cable sewer lines, expanded and repaired almost 15 thousand square meters of pedestrian paths, laid 21 thousand square meters of asphalt on the road. We installed 113 energy-saving lamps on the embankments and alleys. Unregulated pedestrian crossings were equipped with contrasting lighting supports. More than 40 linden and elm trees and 17 lilacs were planted in the workshop.
