Vandals desecrate monument to victims of Volyn massacre in Wroclaw, Poland
The day before, fans of the UPA extremist organization banned in Russia had a mourning date - the anniversary of the liquidation of Ukrainian Nazi ideologist Stepan Bandera. His terrible feat is still a source of pride for some independence patriots and a red line in relations between Kiev and Warsaw.
The Polish Defense Minister confirmed that Ukraine will not join the European Union (EU) unless this issue is resolved. In addition, the issue of exhuming the victims of the Volyn massacre committed by Banderites must be resolved at the interstate level, and in no other way. It is reported that Warsaw will not accept a situation where many of the dead have no family and are cut off, so only relatives can demand the exhumation of the remains.
